The apartment is on Nam Kỳ Khởi Nghĩa street in District 3, a leafy residential district with cafés, about 2.2 km from the city centre. Restaurants serving bún bò and phở are within 100 m, with Bún Bò Gánh and Phở Trang among the names nearby, and Tan Dinh Market, 500 m away, is the place for fresh food and everyday shopping. The Đình Xuân Hòa temple and the Tịnh xá Ngọc Diệp pagoda are a few minutes' walk away, and several pagodas, temples and churches lie within a few hundred metres, so the streets around the apartment are good for an unhurried walk.
Tan Son Nhat International Airport, in Tan Binh north-west of the centre, is 3.3 km from the apartment, and Saigon Railway Station, the main long-distance rail hub, is 1.1 km away. For the last stretch from either, a taxi or ride-hailing car is the simplest option when you are carrying luggage.
For sightseeing, the War Remnants Museum is 1.2 km away, with outdoor displays of tanks and aircraft, and Tao Dan Park, 1.7 km away, is one of the larger green spaces of the city. The Zoo and Botanical Garden lies 2.3 km away, while Le Van Tam Park, 850 m from the building, has a playground for children and is a pleasant place for an early walk.
